If your grants program allows team-based grant applications, you are undoubtedly familiar with the challenges of opening an application form to multiple users.
For example, you need to enable collaboration without sacrificing security (you don’t want people sharing passwords and logins to complete the application.) You want to provide teams a way to access and contribute to a single entry to complete together in an easy, streamlined submission process. No messy back-and-forths, overwriting or miscommunications.
That’s where submission collaboration in Good Grants comes in! A new and powerful Enterprise account feature, which enables teams or a group of applicants to securely collaborate on an application in real-time without shared logins or additional workflows.
There are several unique benefits to a collaborative submission process:
To turn on submission collaboration in Good Grants, grant managers can simply tick a checkbox in the application’s form settings. This will then allow applicants to invite others to help them complete the form.
Submitters can invite others to collaborate in two places: directly on the form itself, or from the list view in “My applications.”
When adding a collaborator, the applicant can decide which permissions to give each collaborator:
Invited collaborators will receive the invite via email and can register and log in securely to get started.
Multiple collaborators can then work on the application form at the same time. Any field that is currently being edited by one collaborator will be locked for others, making it easy to collaborate quickly without writing or editing on top of one another.
Submission collaboration is also available through webhooks and the Good Grants API.
Submission collaboration is available for Enterprise accounts in Good Grants. Learn more and start a free trial today to see how Good Grants can help you effectively manage your grant opportunity.
