5 features to help you save time managing applications

There is so much that goes into grantmaking and any opportunity to save time is well worth investing in.

And this month, we’ve released 5 new features to help you do just that while managing applications to your opportunities.

From dealing with ineligle entries, to more flexibility in form creation, we’ve got a great list of new features available for you to start using right away.

1. 🧮 Automatically perform basic arithmetic on table field data

Table fields allow applicants or grantees to provide data in a table format. Whether you want to collect information around budget, resources, expenses or community data – table fields are an ideal format.

Table fields can now perform automatic calculations on behalf of you, your applicants and your grantees. There are several automatic calculations available: 

• Sum 
• Average
• Count
• Min
• Max.

2. Save time with the downloads list view

A new list view is available for grant managers to see all the exports and bulk downloads generated from their account.

Accessible under the user profile in the platform, the Downloads option provides a list of all downloads generated in the platform. No more waiting for an export email. That’s a great improvement. 

3. Download submitted applications 

As a grant manager, you might need to check an application from top to bottom offline or share an entry with someone who doesn’t have access to your Good Grants platform.

That’s where the PDF download comes in! At the click of a button, you can download and view a full application PDF from the managers view of an application. You can download one, some or all submitted entries from the Manage applications view too.

4. Unlimited forms for Premium plans

With a Good Grants Premium plan, you can now create and manage as many forms or eligibility screeners as you need! You gain improved control and reporting of applications to different opportunities but also flexibility in opportunity form design.

All forms are stored in the Manage forms view—a central location for creating and managing forms in the Good Grants platform. It provides a quick status overview of all created forms, including the volume of submissions received and any applicable round dates. Here’s everything you need to know about the Manage forms view. 

5. ✍️ Download a blank application form

You asked and our product team delivered. Sometimes you simply need to download an application form in PDF format. Now you can!

Accessed via the application form itself, the blank form PDF provides grant managers and applicants the ability to download a blank application form as a PDF, use it to review or share questions offline and gather any information needed in advance.

All fields are displayed in the same sequence and logic as the online form.
